RULES OF THE GAME

Try to answer the question “What will you do with a pocket-size random number generator” and win the invitation to the Hackathon finals that will be held remotely on October 28th-30th, 2020.

Participation is simple:

i. Build your team (3 people max)

ii. Write a project and send it to hackathon@randompower.eu before  October 25th 2020

iii. 15 teams will be admitted to the final round, where your idea will be developed during 2.5 days of coding & keynote speeches (coffee & tea at home, unfortunately). A connection to a server hosting the Random Power Q-TRNG will be provided to each team.

iv. Win the competition and bring home:

3000€ for the best project, 2000 for the second best and 1000 for the third .

PLEASE NOTE: prizes will not be necessarily in cash but they might be in kind (e.g. vouchers for accessing the AWS or for travelling costs). This is subject to limitations by the law in force in Italy and Switzerland and by taxation issues.

NO Participation Fee. Cost of the organisation are covered thanks to the ATTRACT-EU funding (This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 777222)

The hackathon is co-organised with gluoNNet and supported by the CERN IdeaSquare and openlab, INPHER, Kudelski-Nagra and Intesa Innovation.
